Welcome to NauTico. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the NauTico website, online store, and related services, including purchases made through our website and communications relating to your orders.
By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

NauTico sells marine, boating, docking, anchoring, watersports, and related products through our online store.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, dimensions, colors, pricing, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Minor differences may occur due to manufacturing tolerances, product updates, screen settings, photography, packaging changes, or supplier revisions.
Images are provided for reference purposes. Unless otherwise stated, accessories, boats, personal watercraft, docks, equipment, or other objects appearing in lifestyle photographs are not included with the product.
Product specifications may be updated from time to time without notice when changes do not materially affect the product’s intended function.
4. Product Availability
Products are subject to availability.
Placing a product in your shopping cart does not reserve inventory.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may contact you to offer:
- A replacement or alternative product;
- A revised delivery estimate;
- A backorder, when available; or
- A refund for the unavailable item.
5. Pricing
Prices displayed on our website are shown in the currencies supported by the website.
Where the website allows customers to display prices in more than one currency, currency conversions may be based on the exchange rate used by our website at the time of the transaction.
The final amount charged and the currency used for the transaction will be shown during checkout.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, calculation, or typographical errors before an order is fulfilled.
If an error materially affects an order that has already been submitted, we will contact the customer before proceeding.

NauTico may issue electronic tax documents in accordance with Costa Rican tax requirements, including electronic invoices or electronic tickets, depending on the information provided by the customer and the type of transaction.
Customers requesting an electronic invoice are responsible for providing accurate billing and identification information.
7. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products in the order.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted or fulfilled.
We may review orders before fulfillment for reasons including:
- Product availability;
- Payment verification;
- Suspected fraud;
- Incorrect pricing;
- Shipping restrictions;
- Incomplete customer information; or
- Other circumstances that reasonably prevent fulfillment.
If we cannot fulfill an order, any applicable amount already paid will be refunded in accordance with the payment method and applicable law.

Depending on the selected payment method, payment may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
NauTico does not necessarily receive or store complete payment-card information when transactions are processed by an external payment provider.
Orders using bank transfer, SINPE, payment proof, or another manually verified method may remain pending or on hold until payment has been confirmed.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Available shipping or delivery options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be displayed when applicable.
Delivery estimates are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- Courier delays;
- Weather;
- Customs procedures;
- Transportation disruptions;
- Incorrect delivery information;
- Remote delivery locations; or
- Events beyond our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and contact information.
If an order cannot be delivered because the customer supplied incorrect or incomplete information, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.
10. Local Pickup
When local pickup is offered, customers should wait until they receive confirmation that the order is ready before attempting to collect it.
We may request identification or order confirmation when an order is collected.
11. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy, subject to applicable Costa Rican consumer law.

13. Marine and Watersports Products
Marine, boating, docking, anchoring, and watersports products must be selected, installed, inspected, maintained, and used appropriately for the vessel, environment, load, and intended application.
Product specifications such as working loads, breaking strengths, dimensions, vessel-size recommendations, or other performance information should not be treated as a substitute for proper seamanship, inspection, maintenance, or professional judgment.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their intended application.
14. WhatsApp and Order Communications
If you provide a mobile telephone number during checkout or through another NauTico service, you may receive WhatsApp messages or other electronic communications related to your transaction.
These communications may include order confirmations, payment updates, shipping information, delivery notices, customer-service messages, and other information related to the status of your order.
The frequency of these messages may vary. Standard carrier, messaging, or data rates may apply.
Transactional WhatsApp communications are intended to provide information related to your order and are separate from promotional marketing communications unless you have separately consented to receive marketing messages.
15. Customer Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities occurring through your account.
You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
16. Dealer and Affiliate Programs
Dealer, wholesale, affiliate, referral, credit, or other commercial programs offered by NauTico may be subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, pricing rules, credit limits, commissions, payment schedules, or agreements.

The NauTico name, logos, trademarks, product names, website design, graphics, photographs, text, and other original website content are owned by or licensed to NauTico unless otherwise stated.
